I hope that everything went ok with the aspirating of Misha's tumor.  I'll check back later.  Keeping him in my prayers.

Here is the email I sent out about Misha in case you didn't get it Leslie.  I managed to get on the board tonight.

I can't get into the board so wanted you to know how Misha's vet appt went today. This is the stupid page I get when I sign in over and over again. The requested page "/forums/add/forum/15575" could not be found.

Misha had the fluid/blood taken off his tumour today. Dr B really took a lot off and the lump on the side is almost deflated.  He was bad last night and scratched a hole that bled a lot and Dr B said he was trying to save her some work.

They commented on how good he was how he never moved a muscle or did anything while she was doing his treatment. They think he is a sweet little boy.

She agrees that he is not in pain yet so that's good.  She gave him an injection of Clavamox because she really went in deep this time. She also flushed it with the special formula and I'm to continue with it.
He is down to 9 lbs now unfortunately.

She will write a letter to the new vet this week with a report and to ask if she will continue to deal directly with the drug company for payment.   Dr B has just been amazing and a wonderful woman. She's heading for Brazil in a couple of days. She says if she takes these holiday breaks she can continue to be a vet for many years to come without getting burned out.

He was happy to get home and ate his supper right away.

He is such a good boy.

He is resting comfortably tonight.

I guess one step back for the boards last night.  It took awhile for me to sign in on my iPad but it finally took. I never did get your email about Misha's vet visit so I'm glad that you were able to post it for me.  Who knows what route it's taking this time.

That's good that Dr B really drained his tumor good this time.  Yes I guess he was trying to save her some work since he was trying to open it up.

He's such a sweet boy to hold still and be good for Dr B while she does her work.  You know it has to be a bit painful.

That's good that Dr B gave him a good clavamox injection and went down deep.  Maybe that will help keep it from coming back as fast.  That's good that she doesn't think he is in pain.  I'm sad that he is down to 9 pounds now though.  That damned tumor taking away all his nutrition.

Yes Dr B is such a good vet and cares about Misha so much.  I sure hope your new vets will be the same.  I think Dr Mary has the fill in vet for a couple of weeks too so she doesn't get burned out.  They just put everything into their work that they need breaks.

That's good that he a his supper when he got home and is probably more comfortable now.

Sending lots of kisses to that sweet little nephew of ours.  It just makes me sick he, and you, have to go through this.

((((Hugs)))))

Thanks Leslie for you kind words about Misha.

He is looking and feeling so much better since his treatment.  Late last night he was hungry and was meowing at my dh to feed him and he ate a good bowl of food after just having one at 11:00 pm.  When I woke up this morning he was sitting in the bedroom by the door waiting for me to wake up like he used to.  Then he came out to the kitchen and smelled Misty up and down.  He then went back to his closet and was waiting by his placemat for his breakfast.  After he ate he got a whole bunch of lovin'.

There isn't much I can do for his weight other than keep feeding him every chance I get that he is hungry enough.

He sure was a good boy yesterday and they were so thrilled with him at the vets.

Now about this board....I've been working hard for over an hour to post Misty's birthday and answer about 4 or 5 messages.  Thank heavens I have patience or I would have left and never came back.  It was the worst ever today.  Now I have to copy this message because it won't take the first time and then the second time I will paste it and start over.
