He called this morning and said he is good to go home.  I'm about ready to take off and go get him.  The weather isn't based so it should be an easy trip home.  I will be so happy to see my fur kids.

I hope to see ya later on today and do some catching up.

Hugs to you all!

That's good news that he can go home today so everything must be fine surgery wise.

I bet you will be glad to see your sweet furs.

Have a safe trip home.

We're home! I'm sogladtobe hometonight with my furkids.

DH wasn't really ready to come home, but he was so uncomfortable there too.  They did a crappy job of pain control this time.  He's really hurting but made it home.  He's sleeping on the couch right now.  What a job to get him in the house and down, but we managed.

Yes it was a long drive and he was pretty miserable.  He got some pain meds when we got into the SUV before heading home and that helped a bit.  He is really tough.

I think dh should have stayed another night, but he was miserable. He said he could be less miserable at home.  They didn't control his pain at all.  What they gave him didn't seem to work very well. The doctor said it will be about 3 months before we know how well the surgery is going to work.  He is restriced from doing much until then.  Right now he can't do anything so that will keephim quiet.

Les, that's good news.  I hope he will recover quickly at home.

At least being at home he can take his pain meds he's got at home since the one's he got at the hospital wasn't working for him. I hope he feels more comfortable tomorrow and it is always nicer to be home in familiar surroundings where the food is better and lots of furry friends to keep him company. It is nice that it is the weekend so you will be home with him. Wishing him a speedy recovery where he can finally be comfortable.
