We finally made it back home with the babies all in tow!!!  We took all the girls with cuz i didn't know if i had anyone to come let them out n they enjoy riding so....away we went this am!!!  Takes about 4 hrs to drive out there.  Got there about 11:30 n sat and talked with Chris (rescue lady) for just over an hour!!!  We could talk forever!!  She gave Gizmo to me right away, but he was so scared and got away from me for a bit.  I let him hide and calm down...then held him for a while more.  We left and got moving, got some lunch which everyone sampled the french fries!!!  Bro drove for about 30 miles comin home and was fallin asleep, so i started drivin.  Bro n Bronx fell asleep and Giz kept watchin me while i was drivin...he did not sleep....  Poor thing is one scared little baby.  He is so handsome, all white....just purdy cept he's a boy so he's handsome!!!  Turns out he is 3 yrs old and came from a puppy mill, thats why he's scared, no tellin what they did to him.  He's healthy tho.  Bronx isn't even a yr old yet, no health issues, a couple college kids had him n realized when school started they had no time for him, so they at least did the right thing and gave him to Chris.  Bronx is samplin all of the girls chewies.  Gizmo has been sittin next to me, i've been holdin him next to me since i got home.  He did not eat, too nervous.  He's finally relaxin a bit, his eyes are closed.....for a while at least.  When we first came in the house he found a hidin place...he has found a couple, but i find him and hold him. It will take time but they will both be just great!!!  I am very happy they adopted me!!!!  I feel very blessed!!!

That's wonderful that you are home with your two new babies.

I'm sure in time they will be hard to keep off your lap and giving you lots of kisses for rescuing them.

Welcome home little Bronx and Gizmo!  I'm so happy that they found you to give them such a loving, forever home.  I'm sure little Gizmo will come around in your loving care.  That was a long day for you and kids, but well worth the trip to get your new little boys.

Maybe you could make Giz his own hiding place.  That's what I did for Misha when he would go hide in the basement and I could never find him.  I put a cardboard box down there with the entrance facing the wall and he loved it in there.  So whenever he would get stressed with people coming in he would go there and I at least knew where to find him.  You could put his fav toy in there with a blankie.

That is so nice that Bronx sat on your lap for a long time this morning.  Yay Bronx.

Thats a good idea Jane, thanks for sharing.  Just before i sat down with my puter, i blocked the underneath of the bed so he couldn't get under there anymore.  It was hard for me to crawl under there and get him.  I did put a bed in one of the corners of my room that i found him hiding in.  Have to see if i can empty a good sized box for him.  He is doin good i think.  He did come out a few times today and run around and see what everyone was doing.  Bronx was up for more lovin and another lap about dinnertime.  He and Fiona were stealin a toy from one another this afternoon and the same with a chewie.....very fun to watch!!!  I am sure they will be playin a mile a min when they all get used to one another and used to me.
