Yes it's usually the gov. offices that are closed for Presidents Day. No other business can afford to pay the workers to take the day off.
That's wonderful that Misha is better. Maybe he needed the shot of Clavamox to get that healed.

Yes Bear is solid muscle and has to be reminded not to run us over sometimes and Daisy too.

Poor Daisy, she probably don't appreciate Bear plowin her down!!! Sounds like she is doing great, which is great to hear!!! Poor Bear just don't know how big he is!!! Its funny how the little dogs think they are great danes, n the big dogs want to be lap dogs!!!
Wayne just called, he will be here in a while n we are gonna go for ice cream!! Yippeeee!!!

Finally made it here, been so busy today. Finally got my dd's head screwed on better, yippee!!! I was up n over there by 4 am....so very early day for me. Went to the interview n did good on that, so..... I am really tired right now, relaxin....ready for bed. Wayne was supposed to get his dds truck fixed today, i haven't heard from him so....... We are supposed to go out for ice cream tonite....we shall see.
The furkids are all doing well, they all seem just fine. I'd like to take Berkus to the vet to get him checked out, but i would like to wait to get a job for that. I did get some papers from the rescue last week n according to those, he is 14 yrs old!!! His birthday is in January, so wow!!! Another oldie!!
Forgot to mention Gizmo's birthday was sunday, he is 4 now, n Teika's bday was the 6th, she is 11 now, and Fiona's is the 26th, she will be 3!! Woohoo!!!!

Jane, it is good to hear how well Misha is doin. He will be glad to have mom quit messing with him for a bit!! He seems to eat like a trooper sometimes!!!
That is good news, you are one step closer to moving to your new house. What will the next step be after the appliances are in?? Your poor dh havin to travel back n forth.
The weather here was nice till this afternoon when it started raining a bit. Must be pretty warm, i never did check the temp.
My dds had today off, they both work at banks n they take the government holidays, plus the post office is off then too.
Yes I think that Misha needed the Clavamox to perk him up a bit.
I guess some of the workers are so glad to have jobs that they don't care if they get the holiday off.
Dh is taking the buffet and hutch in the SUV when he goes this week to the new house. With all the glass it would be safer going now. He has measured and taken the hutch apart so they both should fit. It's starting to look a bit here bare now but that's exciting too.
Yes Misha is eating really well but it is not sticking to his ribs.
Once the appliances are in and he's back here he will get the tow package put on the SUV which takes an hour and a half and then we will get the rental trailer, pack it and we will be on our way. He has taken a lot of stuff already so we should be gone sometime in these next two weeks.
Gee it must be balmy there if you are getting rain.

Yes Bear doesn't realize how big and strong he is especially around us old folks. lol I'm glad he didn't hurt Daisy. No she doesn't like it and I try to stop him, but they were out of sight when he did it. Yes it is funny how big dogs think they are small and small dogs think they are big.
Hope you got to go and get your ice cream last night.
That's good that your dh is going to take the buffet and hutch this trip so there is less of a change it will get broken. Yes I bet your house is looking empty with him taking a few things each trip. You had better move soon or your dh is going to wear out your new car going back and forth.
