Well that's nice you get your stitches out as they must be starting to get itchy now.
We are staying home tonight too and dh is making a homemade pizza from scratch. I'll be trying to stay awake to ring in the New Year. The champagne from 2 years ago is still in the buffet and I'm sure it won't be gone this year either. LOL
Pizza sounds good. I may have to run in and get a Papa Murphys.
We are staying home too and probably won't even make it until 10 other than midnight. lol
Not alot goin on here. I'm goin out to the store in a bit to pick up a few things....then home. I'm gonna try to get started in my craft/quilt room, gettin it in some semblance of order. There are alot of boxes still, and i think that alot of them will go in there, so i'd like to get a start on that today. No plans for the new year, probably just sleep. I'm feelin better, this cold is on its way out, thankfully!!!
We're both home watching the snow fall.. It was really coming down when I got out of the shower....so I ran out to do a couple of errands...
Last night the cats kept looking at the ceiling..but we couldn't see anything flying around... Once we turned washer off and tv sound off... We heard the peter patter of little feet in the attic crawl space. So had to run to hardware store for stuff to throw up there... Then to Walmart for French Bread..for our garlic bread tonight with the spaghetti... and for french toast tomorrow...
Got the cheese ball made up for later tonight with our movie...
It's really coming down now.. That guy across the street has the puppy..(not a puppy any more).. out playing....He sure has him trained good... but when we get some really cold weather..I'm going to worry myself to death..
watching NCIS marathon and doing laundry..
Glad everyone's staying close to home tonight. I doubt I make it to midnight..I maybe in my recliner..but I'm sure I'll be asleep..
So what is in the attic? We are getting Papa murphys too. So I did not get the stitches out,back next Monday,he said not healed enough and he is afraid it will split open,he also put me on meds as thinks it is a bit infected
That's good that your cold is finally on the way out Mary. It sounds like you have more work to do again. I guess now that you are in your house it's no big hurry and you can work as much or little as you want.
Oh geeze darned mice. I don't like them in the house. They seem to get inbetween the walls and we can hear them chewing on the wood sometimes.
That's good that you went out and got your supplies just in case you get lots of snow.
I'm glad that man was playing with his puppy. Hopefully he has a heated bed in his house for him to keep warm. I don't like to see dogs out especially when it gets so cold.
Oh boy I know what dh and I will be watching this evening. NCIS is one of our favorite shows. I think we have seen them all, but can't remember how some of them came out so we watch them again. lol

I guess it's best to leave the stitches in so it won't split open. Maybe it is infected and that's why it bled a few days ago. I hope that the antibiotics will agree with you.
It sounds like champagne lasts you a long time too. I don't remember the last time I had it. You might as well drink it up so you don't have to move it. lol

We're too full to eat pizza tonight as we had a late lunch so we will have it tomorrow for New Year's day.
I wished we had a Papa Murphy's here. The only good pizza place that was here has closed up. Hope they have a good one where we move.
