Gee Sindee I'm glad your temps are going back up.

With MIsha I'm programmed to expect anything these days.  Sick people don't bother me but my kitty I don't like to see him sick.  Kitties are so helpless as they can't talk and tell us what's going on with them.

That is nice of Skye to get sick outside.  My Misty has this deep loud meow just before so I have time to grab a paper towel, except for when I'm sleeping and it is usually on her bed.

Glad your work was peaceful.

Jodi is still one of the best actresses ever even if she is getting older.  That was sad what she said to her mom and yes I thought it was Alzheimer's too.  It took me awhile to grasp all of her speech as I thought she talked really fast with fleeting thoughts.  Maybe she was really nervous.  Her two sons were there and that's the first I've seen them in public.

It is definitely a must to have these award shows recorded as some of those speeches were ridiculously long.  I couldn't watch it any other way.

Mary you did well with your chores today.  That was a great deal you got on curtains.

I don't know but I thought Jodi talked really fast and maybe it was nerves.

Yes Clinton is looking old and I think his weight loss made him look different.  I think he is a vegetarian now.

Argo looked interesting to me too.

Evening everyone.. it was 8 when we got up...  I think we reached 20 here with sun shine..Our temps are going back up.

Jane.. waking to all that blood would scare the heck out of me. I'm glad it wasn't all that bad. Like Chris I sure wish there was something we could do for that baby..He's having a good life with sister, mom, and dad..

Man I feel left out that no one throw up here last night...  I usually get whoever on the bathroom or kitchen floor if I can..  Skye also likes to get sick outside and usually lets me know..

  Work was ok...peaceful

I personal thought Jodies speech was awesome...  She talked about the next stage in her life/acting career.  She'll now play older women...she's not top paid actess any longer..but she still can make a difference...even if it a tiny part..it will still be a part of her.  She can still write..even direct.
The part to her mom whom I'm guessing has alzheimer's..just by the  way she spoke..reminded me of my aunts. brought tears to my eyes also...

I haven't seen Linclon or Argo...  I'd like to see Argo..  The only part I've watched so far is Jodies speech..and the opening crap.  I have it on DVR and will watch little at a time while doing lunches...

No spell check..so I hope all this makes sense

Jane,

Okay, lets see, kitchen floor, check.  Mail done, check.  Tiny's cage cleaned n her scratched n loved, check.  Dinner made, check.  Worked out, check.  Stopped by the resale store to see if they had anything i needed n found a pr of purple sheer curtains for $5.  I think they will go nicely after i shorten them.  Tryin to work on a few boxes n sort a few things.

Yes, i agree, Jody's speech was bizarre....very bizarre.  Wonder if she was really tryin to say anything??  Yes, i liked some of the dresses, some really weren't all that.  I was suprised to see the pres on there, he sure is lookin older n older all the time.  I'm tryin to get some friends to go see some of the movies with me.  I want to see Argo this week as that is the one that won.

Leslie,

Got Tiny's cage cleaned.  I had taken Fiona down there too, so she got to meet Tiny.  Tiny hopped all over n Fiona kept barkin at her, i think she wanted to play...lol!!  Gave Tiny some quality time, she really enjoyed the scratches n says to say thanks!!

I probably shouldn't be watchin all those shows, but it gives me something to watch n speculate about.  Gonna try to get a couple of friends to go n see a few of the other movies that are nominated.

I got a call today!!  Invited me to a group interview where we are supposed to walk thru the store n see if we have any questions.....hmmmm....after workin at the warehouse i already know alot of how the stores work.  Should be interesting.  We shall see....i hope they do individual interviews after that...... Yippeee, i am glad i get to go for this!!!

I think you are colder there than we are now.

Hope you manage to get all your chores done.

I watched the Globes.  Ben did win over Spielberg.  I haven't seen any of the movies yet.

I thought Jodie Foster's speech was a bit bizarre as she rambled on and on.  She said that she would be retiring then back stage she said that she wasn't.

I'm not a Tina Fey fan so wasn't impressed with the hosting.  I thought the dresses this year were very classy and more reminiscent of the older award shows.

Bill Clinton looked good.  He should spiffy up his wife a bit. LOL

When the tumour fills up it causes him pressure so he scratches.  He added another little scratch today which bled so he has 3 spots now.  It just looked worse on the shirt than the actual scratch.

I got him some more food tonight so I hope he keeps liking it.

That's good you are not getting any rain or snow either this week.  Maybe we'll both even get some sunshine.

Yes it does look worse than it is. Right now there isn't much anyone can do except keep him comfortable. He still purrs and enjoys his lovin' and eats well and is not in any pain.

Daisy didn't say a word and was really smacking and licking her lips. She never wakes me up so I'm glad she did.

I hope you hear something this week about the job Mary.  That's good that you can apply for another one on Friday if you have to.  Maybe you will get that one since it's closer for you.  Keeping my fingers crossed that you will hear something soon.
