Skye and me went out and watched the meteor shower at 4:40...We saw around twelve.  Few of them nice big ones..  But saw no color like the news talked about..

Just so awesome being out there..the smell of the feilds and the quiet...  just so awesome being in the country.   Wish I was as far out as Leslie..

Mornin' Sindee.

I'll go and see if I can see your pictures.  I think they have to make each post active for now so I think they are just getting the main folder going.

I was up at 2.  I looked out east for about 10 min and didn't see anything but a bunch of stars.  I think it was too early.  When I got up at 6 it was foggy.

It was sure beautiful out at 2 am.  Lots of stars.  I saw the big dipper. It's about the only one I can recognize.   It's usually nice and quiet here.  I have been hearing a screach owl sometimes when I go out.  It sounds really weird and a bit freaky.

I usually hear Coyotes calling to each other...and hoot owls hooting.   But this morning not a sound..  I was up at 2:00 but I know I'd be back up around 5, my normal time for work. So I just ganced out the window...

I used to hear coyotes a lot, but I don't hear them very often any more.  I heard them a few weeks ago and had my bedroom window open.  They woke Bear up and he was howling along with them.  lol

I went and saw your beautiful pics.  The older ones don't show but like Leslie said I think they are concentrating on the present posts.

I was up at 4:30 and it was overcast and raining so didn't see anything in the sky.  It is sunny and 67 degrees right now.  We are having a warm spell this week and supposed to be 70 by Thursday.  That was nice that you and Skye got to see the meteor shower.

Love your graphic.

You are going to be having some really nice weather this week.  We are only supposed to be in the low 50's and rainy all week.  I started a fire in the wood stove this morning.  It's only 46 right now, but the sun is popping out through the clouds a bit.

Enjoy your balmy weather!

Leslie:  Didn't get to enjoy it today as we were cleaning house but will be even warmer tomorrow.  I love Indian summer as it is the last little puff of warmth before the cold sets in.

You are cool there today.  Do you ever get Indian summer as you don't get too cold in the winter normally?

Yes we get Indian Summers sometimes.  Most of the time we just have a long summer like we did this year.  I think last year we had really nice weather in Feb.  Most of the time we don't get too much cold weather like you in the land of ice and snow.

Yes it's nice to get a puff of warmth before the cold sets in.
