ABOUT A YEAR AGO I FOUND OUT ABOUT A CHIHUAHUA WHO NEEDED A HOME.

A FRIEND AT WORK FOUND OUT ABOUT HER THROUGH HER SISTER. SHE

BELONGED TO A LITTLE OLD LADY WHO HAS ALZHEIMERS. ABOUT 4 MONTHS

AGO THEY PUT HER IN A NURSING HOME WITH NO ONE TO TAKE CARE OF THE

CHIHUAHUA. THE LADY'S SON WOULD GO FEED HER EVERY OTHER DAY,

AND SHE WAS KEPT IN THE LAUNDRY ROOM OF THE LADY'S HOUSE WITH

NO ATTENTION ETC. MY FRIEND'S SISTER HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET

THE POOR CHIHUAHUA FOR ME, BUT THE LADY'S DAUGHTER WAS TOO

LAZY TO DRIVE TO GET IT. I GUESS IT WAS ABOUT AN HOUR AWAY.

FINALLY, LAST TUESDAY THEY GOT THIS CHIHUAHUA FOR ME. HER

NAILS WERE SO LONG THEY WERE EMBEDED IN HER TOE PADS. I

TOOK HER TO THE VET THE NEXT DAY. THE BABY HAS NEVER BEEN

SPAYED, WHICH WE WERE TOLD SHE WAS, AND SHE HAS HEARTWORMS.

MY FRIEND'S SISTER HAS WORRIED ABOUT THIS CHI FOR OVER A

YEAR. THEY HAVE TRIED SO HARD TO RESCUE HER. NOW THAT

I HAVE HER, IT IS GOING TO BE SO EXPENSIVE TO KEEP HER BECAUSE

OF THE HEARTWORMS. ESPECIALLY SINCE I HAVE SIX OTHER CHIHUAHUA'S.

MY FRIEND AND HER SISTER HAVE GIVEN ME A WONDERFUL GIFT. THEY

KNEW I MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP HER DUE TO THE COST. THEY

ARE GOING TO SPONSOR HER SO THAT I CAN KEEP HER BECAUSE

THEY KNOW HOW MUCH I WILL LOVE HER AND DO MY BEST TO GIVE

HER A LONG WONDERFUL LIFE. SHE HAS ALREADY STARTED TO FIT

IN WITH MY OTHER CHIHUAHUAS. IT DIDN'T TAKE LONG FOR HER

TO FIGURE OUT SHE COULD SLEEP IN THE BED. THIS STORY MAKES

ME FEEL GOOD, TO ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO HELP A HELPLESS ANIMAL.

SHE IS ALREADY SO HAPPY. HER NAME IS FOZZY(FOZZY THE BEAR).

THANKS FOR READING MY STORY. SORRY SO LONG.

ALICIA.

Alicia, you're an angel for rescuing this little girl! Glad she's fitting in with her new family.
