Thank you to everyone for prayed for Kozi and I this weekend. We certainly needed it.
It was a long and stressful weekend for us both. Kozi was diagnosed with Von WildeBrant's. Which is a cousin to hemiphilia that doesn't allow him to clot quickly and makes the kind of surgery he went through a long healing process.
He spent nearly two days at the vet's. He spent all day friday in what ended up as two surgeries. And was transferred to the emergency 24/7 clinic for plasma transfusions to allow him to clot properly. On saturday I picked him up and had to take him back to the first vet to check up on him. They removed his bandage. and we went home around 12. Less than an hour after being home, he was bleeding again. :( And I had to take him back to the vet for a compression bandage. Then we came home and he slept the rest of the day. Sunday he finally had the bandage removed. He's doing much better. And is on benadryl to keep him sedated. And amoxicillan for an mild ear infection.
He's back to trying to be his normal self though. :) Obnoxious and energetic. Which is why we have to keep him sedated.
Anyway, thanks again everyone from both of us! We really appreciate the support!
