Its new years....anyone make any resolutions???  I'm guessing not since we are probably past those...but maybe you've thot you should try to do something a bit better or try to get something back in shape???  If so....share please.....

For me, i'm gonna try to get back on track, i've gained 15 lbs since i have been home n i'd like to get rid of them n get myself back in a better shape again.  I've spent too much time disgusted over "crap" that happened last year, it was last year n that is where it is gonna stay....i've got to move on....i've got to find "ME" again.  I'm also gonna try to spend some time with a few people that are dear to me....and some new friends.  Gonna work on ME, how's about that??

That sounds great Mary to get you back.  Like the post Chris made awhile back about the 7 rules of life #1 was "Make peace with the past so it won't screw up your present".  I just love that one and have to remember not to let things get to me sometimes.  Spending time with people that are dear to you and that you enjoy being with is great.  No use wasting time with people who bring you down unless you have to like close family.

I forgot the few things that I am doing and couldn't edit my post.  I'm trying to get my bedtime chores done earlier and doing pretty good on that.  I also want to start walking more, but may have to wait until the days get a bit longer for that.

I like your expression "It was last year n that is where it is gonna stay".   Good for you Mary working on you and spending time with your dear ones and new friends.

I don't make resolutions but after another bout of hip tendonitis from my bad knee I've got to get back to doing what makes my knee stronger.  I feel much better today with the arthrotec and a full night's sleep as dh got up and fed the kitties early.  I had a crappy 2012 too so gotta shake it off.

Leslie we are both doing better on getting our chores done early at night so we can get to bed.

You are right the days are too short for you to walk after work.  The days should start getting longer soon.

Chris, you need to ask yourself, are there things that they need to do for themselves...things that they COULD do....  You need the "ME" time n if you have to do less for those other people who may be a bit selfish...so be it.  You will be a better YOU if you do have more "ME" time.

Leslie, ya, that's what i meant, i don't make resolutions either....a friend always says to make goals, i don't do that either.  Hate that word failure.....so we don't.  I just keep tryin and tryin to make things better and keep workin at it.  We all have good and bad days.....of course i had a whole bad year....lol.  I'm choosin to try to stay positive and say that this year is gonna be a much better year. 

I think that is a great thing to strive for, doin the chores earlier to get to bed earlier....one we could all try for.  Bed earlier would be a great thing!!!  The walkin, you will get that when those elk come visitin again!!  All the work you do around your farm....you may not get as much exercise in the winter, but i'd bet you make up for it in the summer!!

Jane, i need to write that on a piece of paper n put it on the wall where i can see it every day to remind myself.  So far today i have done good...i actually went n walked on the treadmill n tried out the weight machines at the fitness place....yippee...i feel better already!!  

Yes, that knee n hip of yours really do plague you from time to time, it would be nice if you could get it to a better point.  Does the exercising help it??  I know how hard it is to push yourself to exercise....i think we all tend to be slugs in that area....LOL!!!   If we could all be thin and feel great without exercise and eat all the good food we want.....now that's what i would like a pill for!!!  IF ONLY!!!
