Sorry, Lin, I didn't see your name on the board recently, so it worried me.

Ohmygishgosh-yumpin-yimminie-sakes!  {{{ ^(C)^ }}}  (Yes, you still have your ^wings^!)  How in the beegeebers are you?  I've missed your loving soul and sweet spirit.  It's sooooo good to see you back Home.   :)

Yikes, it appears the with all the iVillage's changes, the CL's aren't listed at the top of the board any longer .... but I'm here!

You don't know how much I've missed you.  Didn't you have a b-day recently?  {{{huggies}}}

With big heart hugs,

Hi, Geri.  I was just thinking about you.

Remembering the old days when iVillage was a very different place.

*Chuckle* Yes, my birthday was July 13th... I'm still 39 - isn't that wonderful? I'm over on the 60 Plus board and I intend to stay. I only have time for one board and I'm in my element there. My mother is in 3rd stage Alzheimers and I'm her caretaker, so I do stay very busy. I no longer have a life of my own what with trying to cope with all the Alzheimer symptoms (for want of a better word there)  that Mom has. She still remembers faces and names come to her after deep thought. She refuses to take showers and all of her food is no good because "it's green." She repeats something 6 or 7 times in a 1 hour conversation. The conversation itself is entirely forgotten within a few mintues. If she goes somewhere in the morning (as an example), she has forgotten about it by afternoon. She throws garbage on the floor, has wiped with newspaper, and has rinsed out her Depends "to save money." She also has temper tantrums, which can get pretty much out of control. That's when I walk away. Roger (my hubby) is wonderful with helping out and I seriously doubt if I could handle everything all alone. So - I have just invited you to my pity party. Laughing As for my Whisper, he's doing great. He's always been very well behaved and if he gets hurt or Roger disciplines him, he runs to my side in a heartbeat. I WILL try to get here more often. ((((Lin))))

Hi, Gaye! I think of you often, as well. I do miss the "good ol' days." We WERE family back then - we had a special closeness. We made lasting friendships and everyone knew everyone else. We lost some very special CLs, as well as CMs over the years and I can't help but wonder about some of them. I don't know exactly what made things so much different back then. It's good to "see" you! (((Gaye))) Btw, I love your siggie!

Oh ^C^, my heart is breaking thinking of everything you are going through at home.  Please tell me you have some form of caretakers support.  Believe me, I know your 'job' taking care of your dear Mom is a 24/7 process, so I know you need to have some type of relief.  Thank goodness your (and my!) Whisper is by your side.  {{{hugs}}}

Gosh, I'll have to pop over to your board.  I sure miss you over on the Pet's Channel.  (eeks, do we even have a channel any more?)  ;)  Do you think I'd be welcome, even if I'm not quite there yet?  Gack, I sure hope I have better luck logging in - in your part of the world!

With love and hugs, always,
