In honor of my ^Whisp's^ 10th wingday, this weeks QOTW is:

I've been talking to a few people - about what they think would be the "appropriate" amount of time for "healing".
With my heart,

I don't think I have every healed completely from ^Hemi^ 8 years ago - a huge part of it with her is guilt and anger that the vet took x-rays that were not the right angle and instead of taking new ones immediately she waited a day took them then waited another day to find out there was an obstruction and she didn't make it the second night.

Hello Lin,

It's been a long time since I visited here. I would like to add my two cents to this question. It is my experience that whenever I lose a beloved, be it human or feline, the loss is great, and it's something that I never quite get over. Time helps to deal with it and to go on, but there is never ever closure.

Not until we meet again at Rainbow Bridge.

It will take years for me to NOT grieve.
