Three years since my Darcy left

It's now been three years today since I lost my beautiful Golden, Darcy.
I still think about her every day, and my life hasn't been the same since a brain tumour claimed her life.
I can only hope that one day we will meet up again........

Darcy's mom... I am so sorry about your loss... It just doesn't get easier does it??? no matter how much time goes by....but I am sure that you will see Darcy again when the time is right... For now she is in your heart and in your memories....and Darcy has a piece of your heart with her at the Rainbow Bridge so that she can have you close until the day you reunite.

I just can't believe it's been three long years since you last held your beautiful ^Darcy^ in your loving arms.

With my heart,

Hi Eleni,
Thanks so much for taking the time to write to me. No , it doesn't get any easier. I think the lead up to the day is just awful too. I just keep reliving the days prior to Darcy's death, and the agonising decision to put her to sleep.
I really feel as though part of me died with her.
I hope that you are right, and we will be reunited one day.
Thanks again.

Hi Lin,
thanks so much for writing to me. It's great to hear from you again. I am still wearing my gold heart containing Darcy's hair that I bought from you.
Yes, three long years. I still miss my girl terribly. I rode up to her favourite water hole and cast out the seven daisies onto the water. I have done this since she died, one daisy for each year of her too short life. I could imagine her running in front of my horse, her golden tail flying in the wind!
My two Goldens that I own now, Bronte and Elsa do the best they can to make their mum feel better. They give me unconditional love that I need to heal my heart and try their very best to help.
Thanks again for your understanding and kind words.
Hugs, Talysha xx
