And he already has a meet and greet scheduled for tomorrow afternoon.  Family with a nine-year-old son and no other pets.

I kind of wanted Gemini to go to a home with at least one more pug, because 37 of them mingled together in a barn at the puppy mill, and he is used to being among other dogs.  But the dad works from home, so he wouldn't be alone all day, and he does love people.

Gemini is so different from the "textbook" version of mill dog I was expecting.....

I bathed the dogs this afternoon, and Gemini certainly did not like that one bit!  Of all the dogs I have ever bathed, he fought me more than any of them this far.

Keeping my fingers crossed for Gemini!  I'm sure he has never had a bath before in his life so therefore hates them.  I don't know of any dogs that actually like baths.  A lot like to swim and get wet in ponds etc. but baths?  Nope.

Gemini was very well behaved at his meet and greet this afternoon.  The little boy fell in love with him.  Gemini is officially adopted and went to his forever home!

Tomorrow I go to the clinic to pick up Taurus.  Second verse, same as the first!

I just mentioned to DH yesterday that last year Cleo really wasn't too bad when we tried to bathe her; before that she would go "crazy" when we tried to use the hose on her, even with a llight shower.  Since she also freaked out when we took her to the groomer, it's just really easier to bathe her ourselves.
