Yes! When Peco gets to not feeling good it scares me, he is 11 y.o. and when he goes off his feed I am scared he has something really wrong with him, I think of all kinds of medical problems and the C word. When Peco hurts his lower back last week and saw him crying trying to do his business I was really worried. I have NEVER seen him like that before, he has hurt a shoulder muscle before but he gets over it with a day of rest. This time I was realizing how much time do I have left with him. He has a lot of fatty tumors on him. I had one dog, Trampy, get cancer with one of the fatty tumors', we had to put him down when he ripped it open, he was just too old and sickly to operate on him, I knew what I had to do... Now I am watching Peco and all his fatty tumors.

Yep I definitely worry if my dog's routines ever change! How is Cleo doing now? I guess dogs can have an "off" day but it would worry me. When Spencer stopped eating, I knew it was time for him to pass. I will know that for Emmy too. Buzz well he is the biggest worrier dog I have ever had so he is always whiney and clingy so I guess if he wasn't I would be worried - LOL!

I had an Airedale named Honey that had a lot of fatty tumors too and one at the base of her tail ended up being cancerous so I always pay attention to all lumps and have them tested.

Cleo's back to normal....last evening when I got home she was out cold...DH had taken her to the dog park and it was a really warm day but she had a great time.

Working full time, I feel like I find out about routine changes from the dog sitter after vet hours during the week.

Oh say, can you see?

I definitely worry when Coffee's routine goes off. I firmly believe there is some reason for it. Yes;I'm a worrier too. ;O)
Hope Cleo is all better today.

I'm so glad she's doing better! Us dog moms tend to worry if they're behaving "off". It's good though to know their quirks because we know when somethings wrong and can get help for them if we need to. Most people might not have noticed that Cleo wasn't being her normal self. I'm just glad she's okay!
