Answering Gaye here as major logging on problems.

Over 6 times to try and answer you Gaye after you answered me and ivillage would not let me on, so a 7th time to start a new topic.  Why does this network have to be so bad for so many months?  The other board I was active in, we have all moved to face book.  I love you wise pet owners, but I am so frustrated with even logging on here.

OK: I don't know what I am doing on food,  friday she wasn't wanting to eat the old or new kibble;  a friend recommended adding baby food which I did and she ate the kibble, alas, 3am today she was puking up the baby food, no whole chunks of kibbles.

She has had long term vomitting once or twice a month and adding new foods can get her puking.   She is my problem child.

Hopefully the antibiotic will be done next friday but not sure on that one either.  Will be calling the vet next week for some guidance.

Frustrated and confused but hanging in there.            Josie

Hi Josie...please do hang in there.  I believe that most of us are still experiencing problems with iVillage....but since I'm a CL I'm kind of "stuck" here....LOL...

As for the baby food....personally whenever I've tried to get my furkids to eat I usually mix in plain chicken.  Also, when we first brought Cleo home from the shelter she wouldn't eat...and I was concerned.  The vet told me to add some canned dog food...and that got her started.

Right now you're going through a lot with your Rudi...but hopefully once the meds are finished she'll be back to normal.

Many hugs....and try to hang in there.

I, too, am having problems logging in every time I try, once in awhile I am able to REPLY like today. I even sent iVillage an email and they have not answered me!!! I wish I knew what could help you with your dog, I have heard that a raw food diet works with some dogs that have a lot of problems with dry dog food. You can get raw dog food in Pet supply stores or make your own.

Hi!

I just checked the system and we don't have any emails from you. If you used an email address other than the one associated with your account please let me know. You can email me directly at techtalk@mail.ivillage.com.

Thanks!

HI Ladies,

Unfortunately, as you know, our message boards are experiencing some technical difficulties. This does affect the log-in process. The error messages you are seeing when trying to start a discussion or reply, such as "unauthorized to post" and "this page can't be found", are a result of a delay in authentification. One way to avoid these error messages is to make sure log in on the main page of a message board before you try to post. You can check to see if you are logged in by looking at the top left-hand corner of the screen to see if your username is there. (You may need to refresh the page if you haven't closed your browser in a while.) If you aren't logged in then look at the right hand side of the main message board and you will see a link to sign in under Quick Links. Click on that link then enter your information and submit. After you submit your information, wait for a few seconds and you'll see your browser going through a "thinking" process. Once you see your name appear in the top left-hand corner of the page, you will then be able to post and reply to messages.

I hope this helps,

Karla
