Homemade doggy toothpaste???

Does anyone here have a good recipe for homemade doggy toothpaste???  Money is getting tighter lately, so I thought I could save some money on doggy toothpaste.  The store bought kind just keeps going up in price, I also have bought doggy toothpaste on Amazon and eBay at great prices but lately they haven't been as cheap as they use to.

Hi Susan - I don't have a recipe but I bet you can find one on the web!  How are the pups doing??

Peco's birthday was yesterday, he is now 12 y.o.! He is doing pretty good, he is a little lumpy all over in his old age but is in good health. Vozzy is doing well, he still loves to go outside and round in circles in our yard. The one thing he doesn't want to do anymore is chasing a frisbee, I guess he outgrew this tendency since he is getting older. How are YOU doing??? And Dante?

I have found several recipes, but I can up with a recipe. I mixed baking soda, coconut oil, parsley flakes, sea salt, and cinnamon together until I get a paste. Peco likes it, Vozzy does not. So next time I will try beef bouillon instead of cinnamon. Since I have been using this combo I have noticed Peco's teeth are getting cleaner.

Oh my gosh!  Sorry I missed Peco's birthday!  A big Happy Birthday to him!  I hope he enjoyed his special day!!  I just can't believe he is 12!  Oh my gosh!!!  Hmmmm wonder why Vozzy doesn't want to chase frisbees anymore.  Maybe arthritis?  Probably just lost interest.  I know all of us lose interest in something we loved when we were kids - LOL! 

I'm doing great (finally) and Dante is just 100% perfect!  I just can't believe I found the perfect dog!  Every day I count my blessings that he is in my life.  Sooooooooooooo sweet and loving.  Makes my heart sing.  :)

Dante sounds like my Vozzy. I can't believe how much Dante and Vozzy look alike!
