When I was signing paperwork to adopt Prince William, he amused himself by posing in front of a mirror in the shelter, admiring himself.

Not a male thing! Taz used to look at her reflection (when she was much younger) all the time. Either a mirror or a glass reflection. She would stare and stare and sometimes bark at herself LOL!!!

Willie was getting on my bed to see in the mirror on the wall; looking at himself in the glass door of the stove and the electric fireplace, and twice I have found the kitchen curtains pulled down where he was getting up into the window.

Maybe it is a male thing! When I brought Spencer home he was fascinated with my mirrored walls. In fact it was kind of sad because he thought he was seeing another Greyhound and he would wag and try and make friends! He ignored Emmy totally - he didn't think Emmy was a dog. Racing Greyhounds spend their entires lives until adoption only around other Greyhounds to they don't "get" other dogs. I was so happy when Spencer finally figured out the mirror thing because I felt sad that he was so desperate for another Greyhound friend! Neither Emmy or Buzz paid any attention to the mirrored walls.
