Morning Terre,

Suzan with Coffee the 4 yr old cocker from Germany.   Dh and I had a nice leisurely weekend.  I returned a pair of shoes , then we strolled thru the old city, had tea, then had a pizza lunch , then on home.   Sunday we went for a walk (even though it is very cold here) the fresh air did us good.  We met my ds, dil, Mikie (my new grandson) and Coffee for a rotisserie dinner and had a lovely chat with them.

That's all for us... oh we did some decluttering (paperwork and filing).

Have a nice week Terre.

Terre from Arkansas with Jack and Taz, Toy Fox Terriers. Saturday dh and I took a long walk (without the dogs). I'm sore from it LOL! Those hills are great for my backside. Then I went to church and afterwards we drove into the city. DH ordered his new eyeglasses while I shopped at Sephora. Then we ate out at one of our favorite places. I had nachos and he had  a chili dog. Sunday,  dh had a business dinner to attend so I was alone. Spent most of the day catching up on reading and watching Jack and Taz snoring the day away. They live for the weekends!!

Laura here in Virginia with 7YO lab/mix, Cleo.

The weekend......boring, boring, boring.....  We had a fast snow on Friday that really messed up our area.  Coming home on Friday afternoon I also ended up in a ditch....driving "really" slow didn't even help.  Thankfully I was able to stop but a lot of people weren't so lucky....lots of little accidents.  Then, of course, everything froze because it was really cold....so I didn't go out the whole weekend.  It's supposed to be really warm and rainy this week, and then get colder towards the weekend.

But DH did bring Cleo to the park on Saturday and Sunday.  Saturday there was lots of snow on the ground...her first real snow...and she just "loved" it.

Gaye in the Dallas area with Anya and Jabaar, the pugs.

I had daughter Amy's little pug here over the weekend while she went to Austin.  Pre will be 3 in April.  A handsome black pug, but he is only 16 pounds.  Anya is 19.5 and Jabaar is 22.6, so Pre looks like a puppy when he is here.  Everyone gets along fine, and Pre was a good boy.

I volunteered at the municipal shelter's offsite adoption event at PetSmart on Saturday.  We took 12 dogs and adopted 9.  The sun never came out like we expected, and we were set up in the parking lot.  I left at 2:30 because I was so cold.

Church on Sunday.

And I went to my old place of employment this morning to train three employees to issue commercial automobile (limo, transport van, small truck) policies.  Four hours' pay.

Karen here in beautiful downtown Mississippi with Lucy the Labracoker and William the Spiddle.

Spent my weekend quiet at home, made a pot roast (Lucy's favorite sport is watching mommy cook).  It's pretty warm so we played outside a good bit.  Still fighting muddy paws, but it's all going to be over soon, right?  Actually it will rain more than anything until about June.

Lucy broke another Kong toy.  Slam in half.  She's an engineer, I suppose.  Maybe I should get her a bowling ball and see if she can tear THAT up.

Donna here with Dante, 3 y/o Greyhound in Arizona. I was a lazy bum over the weekend and enjoyed it so much - LOL!! I actually unpacked several more boxes. Slowly but surely getting through them. I figure I should have them all done by the time I have been in this house a year in June. LOLOLOL!  I also did Greyhound PR at Petco on Sunday.  Dante is a perfect PR Greyhound - he LOVES people and getting attention.  He definitely captures all the hearts that stop by to pet him!  He's not great with other dogs though which is weird because he's good with them normally.  I think it might be the environment and that these dogs are always overly excited and leaping at him.  Still, I have to watch him very carefully around other dogs like I had to with Buzz.  But that's the only fault I have found so far with my perfect boy!  :)

Oh Laura, how frightening. It's been spring-like here - that is, until last night. Now we're back to the 40's and it's very windy this morning. Last night my state had some severe weather (not us, thank god).
