Sorry, y'all. I got caught up in other things and forgot this was my week to post here.  Thank you, Donna, for reminding me.

Who is here?  Please give us your name, where you live, and your pets' names, breeds and ages.

Is it summer where you are yet?  Did you do anything special this weekend?

Gaye here in Dallas/Fort Worth with the pugs: Anya (11),Jabaar (10), plus the foster RooBen (9) and my daughter's pug, Pre (3), who will be here until July 1.  Don't forget the resident cat, Dylan (8).

It is suddenly summer here, with our first hundred-degree day expected at the end of the week.

I worked the shelter's offsite adoption event at PetSmart on Saturday.  We got only four of our eleven adopted, but the little cutie from the Urgent list went home with a special little girl.  It was love at first sight.  Her older brother wanted a different dog, so the mother adopted both of them.

Terre from Arkansas with birthday boy (Jack) and Taz. They are Toy Fox Terriers. Jack is 10 today and Taz is still 9.

We worked in the yard this past weekend. We did lots of watering since the temps are now in the 90's. The gardener and my dh were working on installing a new fawcet outside. Turned out was  a major operation. Saturday night went to church - afterwards we ate out at Copeland's - a New Orleans-type restaurant. It was yummy. We even shared a HUGE carrot cake. My goodness, who has a piece of cake that big?? Sunday - pretty much stayed indoors and rested. I generally don't like to do anything but rest on Sundays. I don't even do laundry. It can wait LOL

Anytime you ladies cannot post please let me know.  I will be glad to fill in. I was tempted to post our roll call but didn't want to step on anyone's toes. ;-)

Terre, I'm not super sensitive. If I forget or can't log in, go ahead and post - and remind me that it's my turn. :)

Barbara in Michigan with Comet (10 yr old Weim), Babs (1 yr old greyhound) and Kiki (4yr old Himalayan cat).  This is another weird summer, with temps all over the place, but lately in the high 60's.  We've had a lot of rain and I still don't have all my annuals in the ground.

I'll spend this week acclimating to the new dog and hoping she soon discovers she cannot walk on top of the pond, all my shoes are off limits, my Kindle is a HUGE no-no, we don't nip at anyone, and it's best to leave the cat alone until he decides she can stay.

B.

Oh say, can you see?

Laura here in VA with 7YO lab/mix, Cleo.

The weather isn't as nice as it should be....it's been on and off hot/chilly....not consistently warm.  Of course, the days I'm in Williamsburg and can sit outside for a while the weather isn't nice....when I'm in VA Beach it's sunny and warm....LOL....

This past weekend I finally went out to get plants for the pond and my veggie plants.  This week I'm going to buy my annuals so that I can plant them over the weekend.
