Jack does this when we have company in the house. Like if a friend comes in the house, he'll greet the friend with a wagging tail...and sure enough there's a puddle on the floor. We don't have a lot of company anyway so it's not a real problem. But I never ever reprimand him. I just wipe it up. I do remember when Taz was bitten by that snake...and we brought her in..she peed right there inside the door...I'm sure due to the pain and fright at what just happened to her.

Have you tried asking your company to ignore Jack completely and see if he stops making a puddle?

Of the few friends that have come over...they generally just extend their hand to Jack, not squat to greet him so it's not much of an

You're lucky it's not such a big issue plus Jack is a small dog.

I know!! Oh, you poor thing. I don't think I could have a big dog in the house. Years ago we had a Lab and a Shepherd but at that time they were outdoor dogs.

But I wouldn't have it any other way - I have a small 2 bedroom house and my dogs take up most of it with their toys and beds.
