Well Tanner did well in surgery according to the vet, and he is home now, but he looks like he just came home from fighting a battle, they shaved a large part of his head. I hope it grows back soon. The hard part is over, now, is the even harder part, waiting! Hopefully it will turn out to be nothing.

I don't know, but if it goes like a human's protocol, it usually takes about two weeks. He isn't allowed to eat tonight all he can do for tonight is drink and the poor little guy is looking for food he hasn't eaten since last night! But they say it is something to do with the anestesia. He is also on antibiotics for a week and he goes back next week to take the stitches out. I'm so afraid now that he is going to bump his little head it looks so sore right now. We had to go look at a house tonight right after getting him so we left him sleeping in the car, our realtor even went over and gave him a nice gentle hug and a couple of pets and rubs on the belly, his dogs are his babies too so you could tell he felt bad for him, we didn't even really look at the house cause we were so concerned about him, I can't even tell you the name of the street it was on lol. We had made this appointment before the surgery was scheduled and we didn't find out until it was too late so we didn't have time to cancel. I just love when you come across other animal lovers and they have a heart for these things instead just thinking "it's a dog, get a grip" cause there are lots out there like that. Tanner is so endearing though, my mother in law even called today to see how he did, and she doesn't like animals! He just has everyone wrapped around his little paw let me tell you.
