I need some suport! Has any one had to deal this issue? My daughter is 15 yrs now. I have been dealing with this for almost 2 years. She has a therapist now but it seems as though it doesn't help. My daughter has actually gotten worse. She hasn't cut for a while. (To the best of my knowledge) But she has such an attitude, very emotional, and is causing problems between people in the house.

The doctor has her on lexipro (an anti-depressant). I love my daughter with all my heart, and at the same time,I can't deal with it amymore.

Thanks for the info. I know it has been a while since I wrote about this issue, and I wanted to thank you for your response. Life is really hectic at this moment. I noticed Saturday that my daughter had some new marks on her arm. I have had her to the family doctor, she was tested for bi-polar. It is neg. Months prior to this I had done an emergency commital. The doctors there did an eval. on her, and to their conclusion; it was depression.

I'm not sure where I will go from here, all I know is that there is an answer somewhere and eventually I will find it.

Well, that’s great that the bi-polar tests came back negative.

Once again thanks for all your suggestions. I appreciate it all, and it helps me out alot just to be able to talk to some one about all of this.
