I've interviewed for a high end nanny position in the Los Angeles area. Spent the daywith the family and it went well.
In my talks with the nanny that I'd be replacing, I found out that some holidays are required, but they don't pay extra. I've always been under the impression that the major holidays, such as 4th of July, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years are usually paid holidays. Has been for all my other positions anyway. I don't mind working some of these days (There is also another nanny that you would switch around with) but I feel like they should be paid extra, as well. What do you all think?
