Constant logging out (again)

Just yesterday and today, every time I refresh the board, it logs me out.  So painful!  (using newest version of Firefox).  I'll try the "refresh" tip that I saw below, but that's when it shows me logged out, so we'll see....

Sorry - I tried to start my own thread but all I get is a blank page when I click on the "Start Discussion" button on this page. The button seems to work on my board, fortunately!

Anyhow, I have a possibly new log in problem. I changed my email address as was suggested - to be able to make changes to my signature, etc. since I was getting the "email in use" error message.

But now it has been several days that I could not log in because the log in page would not accept either email addresses - the new one or the old one! Said it had no record of me! I was finally able to log in today, after trying over and over.

No idea what I did different, but I was relived because we had a new person posting on the debate board with lots of great posts - and I could not respond!

I always just login with my screen name, not my email address. Maybe you could try that next time. My problem is that it keeps randomly logging me out when I hit buttons. I tried to post- it logged me out. I tried to read a PM- it logged me out. I kind of have this visual right now of ivillage. You know that scene in Gremlins where all the evil Gremlins are playing around in the store, throwing things everywhere and basically just causing destruction with everything they do? That's how I see iVillage offices right now. A bunch of gremlins causing more harm than good.

I will try that next time! I had stopped using my screen name because it stopped accepting it quite a while back - but who knows, maybe now it will work again! Laughing

So I tried logging in with my username this morning - as suggested - but they have no record of my user name still. But fortunately the new email I had added, worked this morning.

However, now when I click on the "Start Discussion" button on my board (Breast vs Formula Debate) - I just get a blank screen. So I can't start new topics.

Plus, although I am now logged in and able to post a reply, I still have no Quick Links on the right hand side - it just says:

Catherine I am getting hte same issue with starting new threds today, so it must be a system wide thing. I had to move over to FF to get a new thread started on my board, and you got me thinking, my quick links on the right hand side, I began to pay attention to them and they do show up on the board I CL, but not on this board... how odd...

Hi -

Yes, it's a widespread issue that has been reported. The same with the quick links. I notice that they are hit or miss as well, but I see them 95% of the time while I am inside a thread.

As soon as I have an update I'll let everyone know!

Thanks - so does that mean we cannot create a new thread? Occasionally I can get the button to work, but twice I've tried to create a post - and nothing happens when I click to post - just a blank page.

Catherine, the one time I did it it took me two times, but I did get one started using FF.

It also took me several tries, multiple page refreshing, and finally was able to get a new thread posted in IE. I couldn't get anywhere in FF or Chrome. I'm having to use IE to do all iVillage posting now. Frustrating.

I have been trying all day - but no luck, no matter how many times I refresh.
