I'm really starting to lose it now

ivillage seems to be back at square one with an old glitch rearing its ugly head. New posts are once again found towards the bottom of page one...under older posts... (I didn't even think to check over on page two, which I had to do during the initial switchover until it was finally resolved...where I would find brand new posts from newcomers and I would have to apologize for not getting back to them sooner)...I'll check it out when I am through here getting my frustration out.
This was absolutely the most problematic initial glitch for me. I understand people were all concerned about their siggies and avatars and such, but my Board, EAS, is a support board where people come when they are hurting and in dire need of support. And when their post gets overlooked because no one thinks to scroll down looking for a new post, well then we have a situation where people are not being welcomed to the Board or getting support they need in a timely manner.
And, while I'm here, I'm having a new problem (for the last week or so) logging in (laptop). When I first enter my Board, there's my name...in the upper left hand corner...teasing me...looking like I'm logged in, but it flits away in a few seconds and then, I have to log in again. If I'm lucky, it might take on the second try...more often than not, it takes three tries.
You'll have to excuse me. I am angry...and I have no where else to put it.

Hi Clarity -
I am sorry you're so frustrated. I'm not seeing the issue with new posts at the bottom. Are you still seeing this? Is it just on your topic?
As for the log in and name, the one on the right under quick links is the one that would be the best indication of whether you're signed in or not.
And as always, please feel free to contact your moderator directly via email. She'd be more than happy to help you with any issues as well as listen to your frustrations and pass along your comments and concerns.
Have a Happy & Healthy New Year!

Hi Shy,
I know I've seen this and others have commented on it as well—the different views when logged in/out. Unfortunately I think that's how that works. (Not saying it's a good thing, just that that is that way because it's how it is.) I know it's something that we want to work on. Do you see the same view when logged in? Or is that changing as well?
You're actually one-up on me with the iphone posting, I can't post from mine at all.
I've been out and am playing catch-up, so if I find out any info I'll be sure to let everyone know.
Thanks and have a happy new year!

I too am having trouble being able to post. I'm logged in but it says I'm not logged in, so I log in and get an error that the page can't be found (usually) or occasionally another error that I don't recall. Anyway, then I have to go back to the board home page and click create a new post and try it all over. Sometimes it takes 5-6 tries just to create a new post. And then sometimes I create the post and when I click post, I get sent to an error post...except...get this...the post actually did get created! (I learned to check the board page and see if it posted, after double posting a couple of new threads.)
Things around here are really not user friendly. At all. People don't stay where they're not welcome, hence the dead boards. Who would want to be here when posting is problematic at best, and impossible for many?
