Hi Everyone -

If you're having an issue logging in and getting immediately sent to an access denied page, please try this link: http://www.ivillage.com/user/sign-in.

The issue has been reported and I apologize for the inconvenience.

Thanks,

Hi Nalia,

I know you've spoken to at least two mods regarding the identity theft. This is absolutely unrelated to anything you may be dealing with. This is something that is affecting our authorization system from the recent migration to a new hosting site.

Thanks,

Hi!

Ugh, I'm sorry about that.  We don't have any authority over the Canadian site, but I've passed it on.

A suggestion: what happens if she clicks on the iVillage.com link at the bottom of the .ca site? I know there used to be a pop-up that asks you if you really want to continue to the US site. That may help.

But I've definitely passed it on.

Erin, one of my Canadian members tells me (via email) that she can log in using the link you provided but it takes her to ivillage.ca, and when she goes to the Parenting channel of the boards our board is not listed. Can somebody take a look at that please?

Hi Ladies,

There isn't an update as far as a fix time frame, but they are working on it. The forums aren't the only part of the site experiencing issues, unfortunately, so it's larger scale issue that we're dealing with.

That login link should work for all. Do you know if there is an error message? Are they still just getting the access denied note? I've been able to log in on my desktop and phone using the link, but the key is making sure that nothing appears at the end of the URL in the address bar. I know sometimes if I paste a link, it will try to auto-complete it for me. Matter of fact it just did it earlier.

If they are still having issues, can you please have them email me at techtalk@mail.ivillage.com? Thanks!

Erin, any news about when the log-in/not authorized page issues will be resolved? My boardies are complaining about it via email since they cannot get onto the board. I posted the link to the sign-in page that you posted on Tuesday but evidently its not working for some.

On Tuesday it took me about 10 tries to get logged in but then, oddly enough, it has kept me logged in even though I've quit the browser (Safari) several times since then and even turned off computer overnight. This morning I come to iVillage and it says Hello, elc11! Yippee!! Hopefully they are getting the "keep me logged in" function fixed.

If you have anything that I can tell my boardies about when this problem will be resolved please post it.

Thanks

Oh thank you Erin.  I haven't been able to log on in a couple of days.  Sunday was the last I could log on, in fact, and I posted a reply to an existing thread but later noticed that the only thing there is my signature.  No post.  Grrrrrr.
