Many posting problems with FireFox

Site marginally functional with IE9 and almost unusable with FireFox, suspect ditto with Chrome. Suggest site users only use IE browsers till code is debugged. Be careful posting, suggest opening seperate tab for forum posting while leaving site home page open on another. This will allow a route to return if forum posting menu banner appears and locks out return to homepage.

It is suggested that a screen print (prtscn or alt prtscn) then paste into word processor and forward .doc file of error be forwarded to the webmaster for correction. http://www.wikihow.com/Take-a-Screenshot-in-Microsoft-Windows

Karla, I was having the same issue on my Windows based computer -- I still can't log in from there using any of the 3 browsers I have installed. (Firefox, Chrome or IE).  No notifications either.  I'm not sure if I've accidently shut those off or they just aren't working at the moment -- :(  I could have when I was switching a few things recently... but I don't think so.

Any who, I did find that when I switched over to my MAC, and tried Firefox, the same problems existed so I switched back to Safari (which I loathe), but voila!  It works!  I'm in and posting again and I can actually see replies and work within the system again.  So maybe for those on MACs, Safari could be an interim solution.  I'm not even getting all the ads or pop-ups!  (which has been heavenly, because Firefox has been letting a lot through in the last little while.

Thanks to CMLisaB for helping out Saturday and Sunday on the board while I wasn't able to post - I really appreciate knowing that she was available to help out on such short notice.

Odd --- on my Mac, I trid a lot of browsers and am using Firefox right now, no problem (other that the raft of issues from the changeover like missing threads, non-functioning search, inability to do my preferences since my "email is already taken", etc. . I also work with Safari  with no worse or better function than Firefox, but found that Chrome wouldn't let me log in  (doesn't even have a PLACE to log in) and Opera looks more like my non-working mobile version although it will let me see replies. Camino works just like Firefox and Safari...
