Hi, everyone!

First, I want to say THANK YOU for all of your posts -- some issues we know about and are already working on; but you also brought some new bugs to our attention too. It's a big help to us to see these, and it helps me prioritize what needs to happen immediately, and what can come after that.

After we went live yesterday, thanks to you, the Community Leaders, and the Moderators, I was able to give a long list (Wink) of To-Dos to the tech team.

I'll use this thread to start reporting what our tech team is working on. I'll post a follow-up as things get fixed.

Right now, this is what is being worked on:

1. Fixing Log In in IE

2. Re-importing missing user accounts (those "Visitor (Not Verified)" accounts), which is also related to the Error pages we get when we click on a thread.(What happens is this: when we click on a thread, the system needs to load all the info about that thread – the content, the settings, and the users attached to it. As the system searches frantically for the all the users participating in that thread, when it hits a missing user account, the page load fails.)

3. Re-importing missing message boards: All of the June 2012 Playgroup; boards in the Current Debates, After School Activities, 2008 Playgroup Friends, 2009 Playgroup friends, and Wedding & Honeymoon Planning topics; and the Nurtured Heart Approach board in the Spirited & High Needs topic. I can't thank our members in these boards enough for your patience!

Additionally, you should start seeing some Avatars reappearing, as well as some Signatures.

Also, you'll notice that header copy is missing from the boards -- that will be reloaded in the next 24-36 hours.

As for the rest of the list, I'm sitting down with the project manager this afternoon to prioritize the next tasks for the team. I'll make features that are not working or missing the highest priority.

I'll talk to you soon!

...keep going!

That's the one -- thanks! I'll put it on the list.

Any word on when after posting you will be taken to where you left off vs. to the end of a thread?

HELP! I, along with other people on our board (October Harvest Cuties 04 ) are becoming increasingly more & more frustrated with IVillage. We understand about the change that needed to take place...there were glitches & issues.  Then Sandy happened when many of the said glitches were not fixed. Sany was a horrible thing & we realize that for a while IVillage was affected greatly, no power etc.

It is many weeks later since day one of the chane over & our board has had issues that have been stated more than once by more than just me & still nothing has changed! We have moved elsewhere for the time being due to the issues but really want to come "home". I posted last week (here) asking specifically when a major issue for our board would be addressed & have not gotten a single reply. (when the issue of being taken to the end of a thread after a post vs. taken to where you left off as it was pre change over) I think we all understand that there were other issues that were more pressing than ours, which is totally fine. However,  it's been several weeks now & we are no closer to being back up & running than we were the first day of the change over.  Even if our issues aren't being addressed today, it would be nice to know "when" they will be addressed. Do we have another month, 2 wks?, few days to deal with this or is it never going to change?  We just want to come back to our home, post and be with our friends.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

It seems as though for each new "fix", there are at least two more problems.  Try to reply to a message without being logged in and after logging in, the programming sends me to the very beginning of the thread, rather than the message to which I was trying to respond.  Have to navigate back to the message, then reply.  Then my response shows as response to myself.  HUH?  This is with Firefox.  Using an iPad and Safari to reply to a message in the same scenario, I get a "you are not authorized to comment" message but can use "quick reply".  None of this makes any sense.

I have said this before to the CM's on other boards.  The October change was very badly conceived and even more horrible in implementation.  iVillage is losing members due to incompetence.  Let me stress that word.  INCOMPETENCE.  Either resources have not been adequately allocated or those resources are of questionable quality and/or number.  Superstorm Sandy may have been a contributing factor in the speed of response since the end of October but the storm struck almost three weeks after the original meltdown..

Shameful...........

I couldn't agree more with the preveious posters last paragraph...I'm back to see what, if anything, had been "fixed". (nothing)

Here I am back again....came to see if any of our issues have been fixed. For whatever reason, I can come to this board & post etc. w/out a problem. However, over at my board (OHC 2004) i can't log in at all anymore. Tells me I am not authorized to post, takes me to the log in page (mind you, I was logged in), I re-log in & then repeat the process. Did this 3 times & came here. This is beyond frustrating. We are now into December and NONE of the issues have been addressed nor do we even have an idea if or when they will be. Just give it to us straight, are the issues going to be fixed? It really seems like we're getting squeezed out.

I am having the same problem - I cannot stay logged in and I am being told I don't have permission to post. I tried logging in on the right hand side, and now it is letting me post - but when I did so on my board - no post has appeared. I am hoping that at least this one will work??

Hi, Catherine. I'm experiencing the same issue. There seems to be a lag when I sign in, and it isn't keeping me logged in either. I tried checking the box to remember me (which I know was checked before, but maybe it got forgotten), and so far it seems to be helping.
