Hi, everyone!
First, I want to say THANK YOU for all of your posts -- some issues we know about and are already working on; but you also brought some new bugs to our attention too. It's a big help to us to see these, and it helps me prioritize what needs to happen immediately, and what can come after that.
After we went live yesterday, thanks to you, the Community Leaders, and the Moderators, I was able to give a long list (
) of To-Dos to the tech team.
I'll use this thread to start reporting what our tech team is working on. I'll post a follow-up as things get fixed.
Right now, this is what is being worked on:
1. Fixing Log In in IE
2. Re-importing missing user accounts (those "Visitor (Not Verified)" accounts), which is also related to the Error pages we get when we click on a thread.(What happens is this: when we click on a thread, the system needs to load all the info about that thread – the content, the settings, and the users attached to it. As the system searches frantically for the all the users participating in that thread, when it hits a missing user account, the page load fails.)
3. Re-importing missing message boards: All of the June 2012 Playgroup; boards in the Current Debates, After School Activities, 2008 Playgroup Friends, 2009 Playgroup friends, and Wedding & Honeymoon Planning topics; and the Nurtured Heart Approach board in the Spirited & High Needs topic. I can't thank our members in these boards enough for your patience!
Additionally, you should start seeing some Avatars reappearing, as well as some Signatures.
Also, you'll notice that header copy is missing from the boards -- that will be reloaded in the next 24-36 hours.
As for the rest of the list, I'm sitting down with the project manager this afternoon to prioritize the next tasks for the team. I'll make features that are not working or missing the highest priority.

The Single Life url is not redirecting. I can lose a lot of recent newbies that way.
How do I tell when I post has unread replies? They all look the same to me.
It's not jumping to the first unread message, which I'm assuming is related to the problem of not being able to see what's new. I tried to edit my preferences, but it gave me the same duplicate email error as everyone else.
There is a huge privacy issue with the mobile version. I passed that along to Thia. I don't want to make it public here.
I'm glad I can login on my laptop today, but I'm very upset that the mobile version isn't working correctly at all. I can start a new discussion and that's all. I can't read replies, see if I have a PM, or reply to a thread. It's a hot mess right now.

We are definitely planning on locating and reloading that missing window of PMs. Sorry you lost your "books" though. (Painful when it happens, I know. I can never recreate the magic of that first version...LOL)

This is probably not high priority... but I've noticed a siggie of mine from years ago is now showing up as my siggie. I tried to replace it to my newest one (that disappeared) and it's telling me that "The signature is too long. Must be under 255 characters or less."
Honestly I'm really confused at all that is going on!
And now suddenly my new siggie is back. So confused!

All of the URLS we had with Lithium have been redirected to a new, corresponding URL. Those redirects won't expire. So, if you go to an old Lithium URL today, you'll see that it forwards you to the same (board, thread, etc.) on our current boards.</p><p>Let me know if this is not the case with any Lithium-world URLS you have saved, though. Several of the old URLs that I have bookmarked in my browsers (Safari and Firefox) or are imbedded in email notifications received before the switch are not redirecting for me, but some bookmarked URLs do work. Do you want me to list the broken ones here, or send them to you somehow?
Also, will the subscriptions/email notifications be available again? I haven't received any notifications of activity on my board since the relaunch but there have been a few posts...
Edited to add that the link within the board activity email notification is now working, but 3 boards are still not redirecting:

Finally, this used to be a hyperlink list of all of the message boards in alphabetical order http://www.ivillage.com/forums/node/116730819. It now says I don't have access. Will it become available again? (was it a public page or visible only to CLs?)

I'd love to see the rest of your list of redirects that aren't working. You can just PM me, or send it to your Moderator and she'll fwd it to me. I'll pass these along to the team.
Subscriptions - yes, restoring those (as well as any missing bookmarks) is already a bug ticket I've submitted to the team.
This link - http://www.ivillage.com/forums/node/116730819 - looks like it had been archived at Lithium. It's just a text post with a link to the list of all boards, and when I just clicked the link I got redirected to the new forums home page, anyway. Once the dust settles a bit, we'll work on re-creating this list and finding a public home for it.
