Page refreshing?

Does the tech team know why some message board pages refresh repeatedly? When I go to my board the page typically refreshes 3 times. It happens pretty quickly and then it stops jumping, but in the meantime I can't read or post and its annoying. Just wondering if that is on the To Do list of fixes?

Hi there,

I think I know what you are referring to as it is happening to me as well.  What I think is going on is that it is taking the page a bit to load information (seems to be taking a while for it to recognize log in info).  Once it loads it is fine, but it is taking too long to get to that point, and it seems like the page has to load a few times to get there.  Does that sound like what you are seeing?  If that is the case, it is on the list and the tech team is aware of the delay.  Hopefully we'll see it resolved soon!

Kristy, what it seems to be doing is loading the page with me logged in (because I always click "keep me logged in"); then the page goes momentarily blank and reloads saying Sign In at the top; then again goes blank and when it reloads it shows me logged in again. And each time its reloading it jumps up and down a little, maybe that's the ads reloading.

Hi elc11,

Thanks so much for the details.  That seems to be the same thing I've been experiencing too (and I know we aren't alone).  The tech team is aware of this issue but I'll be sure to pass along your comments.  Hopefully we'll see this issue clear up soon.
