This is pathetic............................

Perhaps it's just me, but I really am at wits end. I know the new launch has not been successful up to this point (IMHO ). I know the Tech Team is in NYC (I am truly sorry for all of you there without electric, water , homes etc). Are all the CM's in NYC? I don't mean to sound callous but I really wish that just one of the CM's could post something so that we know there is life on iVillage. I think it would be nice if we cl's had an "official" message that we could post on our boards (even better if the CM'S could post it directly on our board and on the home page) about the actual state of things and what members can anticipate or not and when. (It might also be a good idea if the team boards were working). For us to keep posting ".....have patience....." is not something that can continue being said: members have no more patience, members are leaving iVillage. Members deserve to know what's going on and why in a formal statement. (Even Martha Stewart Corp sent em's to members explaining what was happening, their site and forums and subscriptions are again up and running by now). I don't see anything on this help board that is new or helpful and haven't for quite a while.
.....so as I said, I am at wits' end, and I'm betting I'm not the only one.

Unfortunately Suzan, you are right. I was just telling a friend of mine today that I LOVE the boards, but I am so frustrated between the constant error messages, not being able to log in to check my boards from my ipad, etc. If I didn't love them so much, and the people here, I would have jumped ship. But I am doing my best to keep my boardies updated and get them to the board as much as possible. But, just like the last change over where we lost soooo many posters, its frustrating to talk to myself all day long.
Very well said Suzan & all very true,
Members have left & doubtful they will return :(
Hi, Everyone...
First, I want to pass along my apologies that we've not had an update for you recently. As soon as I have something, Jess or I will post. I know everyone's frustrated, and I'm sorry that things are still occurring that are hurting our communities and your ability to post and talk with each other. I forwarded your thread on this morning, so please know that we are listening and concerned with everyone's feelings.
You can always email me at policy@mail.ivillage.com. Keep that address just in case. I will do whatever I can to pass along your messages or help find a way to make your experience here better.
Thank you for taking the time to let us know your thoughts -- I know that doesn't solve things for you. I know you love your boards...as do I...and I am here if there is anything I can do.
Donna
I am frustrated as well.
I did want to add though that there was also frustration when we switched to Lithium and yes, sadly we lost some posters. But as much as I miss some of those gals, slowly as new ladies found iVillage, things picked back up.
With the added storm in the east, surely is not helping matters any.
I did get a CL e-mail that ipads and iphones should be working now.
But not all cell phones & ipads are working,
Regardless of the email you received ..
Hugss,
Please let me know what cell phone you are using and what browser on it. My Galaxy S2 is able to get to the boards using FF on it. You can always reach me by email too if you need to and I will add all your concerns to the techs - relationshipscm@mail.ivillage
We appreciate everyone's patience on this, as like Donna said, our Techs are East Coasters and are dealing with so many difficulties right now.
iphone 5 & mini ipad,
Using safari for both .. can open boards on both, see replies but not able to post or reply
thanks :)
OK, iPad running IOS6
Using Safari, I now have a reply button (didn't before). It asks me to sign in (never did that before either) and then says add a new coment but there's no place to type... so while ti SAYS I can reply, I can't. But on any thread with more than one post, I can at least now read the rplies to the OP.
Using Terra v 2.0.1, I can now see replies to OPs in threads. Have reply buttons. CLick on reply --- it asks me to sign in (also new) but again, there is no post box when the "Add new COmmnet page comes up...
So I can read but I cannot write!
CL for "
Yep --- got it working and it was all due to you! Thanks!
