Pesky error problem

I have been trying to get a message to post for over 3 hours and keep getting "Error: the website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later".

How much later is later? I see that other members have been able to post on that board while I cannot. Why can I post here, but not there? Grrrr....

Hi,

Are you still seeing this? If so, which board? If you can grab a screen shot of the error so I can try to reproduce and pass along, that would be great.

Thanks!

I'm not having the problem any more, I guess it was something going on Friday night. The error message was exactly what I wrote out in my previous post. I had quit and relaunched the browser during the problem period to see if that would resolve the problem (didn't help). One weird thing that happened is that I was getting logged out also, so I opened another window in the same browser (Safari) and I was logged on in that window and it allowed me to post here, and then at the other board (Parents of College Students). As I mentioned before, other members were able to post there during the period that I could not.

Maybe Friday night into Sat morning they were working on the site? This was more than the usual "slow boards" problems.

Hi,

Thanks for the update, I'm glad it's no longer happening. The reason why we ask for screen shots is so we can see the entire page and get a better idea of what page it's happening on, if there is anything else going on while it's appearing and so on. When other's can't reproduce it, the screen shot is a tremendous help. :)
