Posting with clickable links

I know someone responded to me once before about how to do this. I thought it just involved disabling rich text, but that didn't work on a post that I just tried it on. Also, although I was trying to separate my post into paragraphs, it all ran together in one wall of text. (Strange that this one did not -- is that an effect of the rich text being disabled?)

I am getting very frustrated by everything being so difficult to do and certainly not intuitive in any way!

Thing is --- filtered html won't post pictures and I've found that If I post the url instead of a linked word in disabled rich text, it is NOT linkable when I go back to WYSIWYG... So we have to pick and choose between three (have bo clue what teh foruth one is four) incompleted sysetms to post, no one of which gives us all we need to make the posts looks as polished as they used to. Might as go back to asking us all to learn html and post that way...

You can click on Disable rich-text and also click in the Text Format Filtered HTML...instead of WYSIWYG

That works for me...;)...

Hi Becky,

To create a clickable link, highlight the word(s) you want to link out and click the link button in the toolbar.

Yes, you lost paragraphs in disable rich text because it's as if you're typing plain text, not keeping any formatting.

Please let me know if you need any more help!
