This is the third time I have has to sign in.  Also when posting the post disappears. I can't get the font size to stay either.  Is this a warning that the boards are to be discontinued?  It sure is discouraging to anyone let alone new people.

Xxxs, I've been having sign in problems for weeks. It always takes me a minimum of 3 tries, even when waiting for the page to refresh. One of my boardies said that she gives up after 10 tries, so some days she never makes it to our board.

Fortunately my posts (usually) don't disappear and I just use the default font.

Thursday morning the boards were formatted bullet style along the left margin (reminded me of forums from about 15 years ago!) and signing in was impossible. The only thing that was working properly was the ads.

Somebody recently asked if the boards were being discontinued and the CM's answer was no...but with the persistent problems, you gotta wonder. Hope things start working better for you soon.

Hi,

The boards aren't closing. :)

The log-in issue you're experiencing is a known issue, unfortunately.

As for the posts disappearing and the font not staying, I'll need some additional information from you. Can you please send me an email at techtalk@mail.ivillage.com so I can troubleshoot with you?

Thanks,

Erin

My board, Quick and Easy Cookbook, is convinced that we are being forced out through frustration.  They think, and it's hard to think otherwise, that we are being given the subtle message to go away.  7 months later and it still doesn't work is a very telling message.   Sadly, the migration elsewhere has started.   And Q&E has remained a very active board through thick, thin, and everything that has been thrown at us.  Yesterday, and the lack of communiation about it, was the final straw.   I will still stick around because I am a walking advertisement for this place, although admittedly I would NEVER recommend the boards to a newbie now.   I love the iVillage boards.   They are awesome.   But my core I think is gone, and I doubt they will return unless someone actually fixes the issues.... as has been promised to no avail for 7 months.
