I swear I just waited a full 5 minutes for the site to recognize that I had logged in. I timed it! And it is not keeping me logged in, even though I have checked the box.

Good morning, Becky

It's super-early here on the east coast, so I don't know the full details and am just going by a brief update I got much earlier today, but we did experience a problem late last night that likely caused the severe slowness. They  are on the case! It looks like they fixed it but I don't have details.

Well, it is better now. But I still had to log in again, even though I had checked the box to keep me logged in.

No, it's not fixed.  It's still extremely slow.  People still can't post.  At many points this week I could neither start a new post, nor could I reply to a post.  I was on the site for a very lengthy time...long enough that it should have been recognizing me as logged in if what you're saying about the slowness was the case.  Even when it's working, it's marginal at best.  One time I try to post and I'm actually able to.  The very next post, on the very same board, on the very same screen, I'm unable to get to the editing screen in order to create a post.  It is very very broken.  Still.  I speak for those who can't speak because for once, I'm able to post and perhaps they're unable to post...or they've given up.

Hi Sue, How are things today? Are you still noticing the slowness or has it improved a bit? So far today I've noticed that things have been loading much more quickly (I'm in Firefox right now). Hopefully that's a great sign of things to come!
