I've lost 6lbs so far in the first phase of the south beach diet!  Feeling really good!  Noticing more definition in my mid section.  The only way it seems like i can drop weight is to cut carbs.  I know I'm not suppose to stay in Phase 1 for more than 1 week, but I want to drop more body fat, what do you think I should do when I complete week 2 this sunday?

Congrats on the 6 pounds, that's significant! I don't know anything about South Beach but I don't want you to be hanging here with no replies. There used to a board dedicated to South Beach but no more; however there are still a couple of boards for Weight Loss and maybe one of those members can advise you:
