Thread order?
Mon, 10-29-2012 - 5:34pm

Just throwing out issues as I see them.

The post order is off.  I tried clicking on the little arrow by the word Replies and I ended up with posts from 2003 on top!  Eeek!

Not sure what the order is supposed to be, but I just know that the thread with the most current reply is no longer on top.  Can't really tell what order it is in right now, and not sure what it is really supposed to look like.

Is this board wide?  Or just my settings?

Also, saw a member try to bump a post unsuccessfully, which leads me to believe the board issue site-wide, not just my settings.

Seem to have lost my subscription and can't seem to get it back.  I got a message that as a CL, I was not allowed.  Hmmmm????

Hi, Serenity.  I am seeing the same thing when I try to sort by recent reply.  I can't get it to resort either.  If you close out of the forum and go back in, it will go back to the original view.  I think this is on the list of things to fix, but if not I'll pass it on.

I just noticed this, thought I would pass it along.

On some of the boards, the posts are showing in order, with the most recent replied-to post on top, then going down in order.  But I went visiting today, and I found that this is not the case with all of the boards.  Some of them are showing the posts all out of order, with later replied-to posts coming before the most recent ones.

I'm still not able to change any of my settings because of the email is taken/signature is too long issue - and I don't think it's anything I've done on any specific board to change the settings, though I guess I could have?

Hope this makes sense - I can try to clarify or give an example if necessary.

SOOO true about the order being scrambled. And the inability to fix it within preferences if your "email is already taken"!

ALSO --- IF YOU EDIT A POST wihtin a thread, it apparently is percieved to be a new post and drops to the bottom of the queue, out of order and not where it was posted in the first place, if you get my drift... SO you can add to the scramble within a thread as well!

I am seeing the threads in order of when it was originally posted. So a thread that was started on Tuesday will be above a thread started on Monday, even if Monday's thread has more recent activity. Makes it more challenging to tell if there are replies that I haven't read. I'm trying to train myself to go onto the archive page and look at the speech bubbles to see if any have little lines, but old habits die hard.

Experiencing the same issues.  If continually have to go to second page and scroll down to find most recent posts.  I still manage to miss some...if I don't scroll down far enough.

I really hope this is top priority. It's disconcerting to see a newbie post on a support board and get overlooked...especially by the CL...the CL being me.

And I see Community Leader is still not noted under my name.
