Where do I put my email address?

I know this is off topic, but how do I get email notifications? I can’t see anywhere to put my email address.

Hi, yes, just not automatically. You have to manually subscribe and change it to email format. We do have a new section in your profile for recent comments which is all posts you've replied to so you know where you've posted.

To set up your notifications, hover over the 'thread options' link at the top of the original post, then click subscribe. In your bookmarks & subscriptions section (found under quick links on the right column) click on tab 2, then edit on the subscription you just added. In the drop down change it to HTML mail and click save. If you'd like immediate emails, you can then change the interval on the tab 2 page by checking the box(es) on the subscription(s) you want to change and then in the drop down change it to immediate. (You can also delete, activate, deactivate (if you want to stop emails temporarily rather than deleting it) from there as well.)

I know it's a bit cumbersome at the moment, but the recent comments section should help out in the meanwhile.

If you are already registered (whcich you appear to be, given you have a screen name and are posting here), your email is in the system and when you click on the notification buttons, whether it be for email notifications or subscriptions, that is the email it will use. You don't have to add one...

However, if you don't want those notifications sent to your registration email address, then you need to do what Erin said, and change your email to teh one you want to use...

Of course, the notifications aren't working so...

You can change your email address here: http://www.ivillage.com/account/info. Unfortunately, the email notifications are currently not working as they should be. They are on the list of things to look at as soon as the data deletion is completed.
