We all heard about the big meeting iV had this past Wednesday to discuss the huge FAIL this server change has been. Now, where is our update?

I have been around since 2002. I have weathered many storms. I'm not so sure we are going to make it through this one. My board is gone. They went to a Google forum. The opinion was that 2 months was way more than ample time to get this fixed. Lack of communication is high on that list too.

I am just sick over this. I love this place, it's ingrained as part of my daily routine. I love the friends I have made here over the years. I sure do miss them. We were told weeks ago bu one CM that the boards were thriving and growing since this change. Please, stop insulting our intelligence. We can all spot check boards. They are all dying. This change has been awful. Great concept though.

So, what's going on??

Jessica posted in the December 10 update...my take on it is that we are done...they still think they have the ability to fix the problems with the tech staff they have, which is obviously not true...those who are unable to learn from the past are condemned to repeat it. I am so sad over this. I have learned so much about myself and about women in general from these boards - the ones where I posted and the ones where I lurked. For so many women, this was a safe place to find comfort and support, to be part of a community. I know many boards have moved to Facebook and other forums, which is great for the people who were part of the group, but not for the next person looking for help or a friendly voice. I will hang in with the main board I frequent as long as others can, but there is so little left here. I feel for the CMs and CLs who have tried so hard to keep hope alive. But I think that reality is missing from the assessment of the situation, and I only can wish that we meet again in another cyber place.

Yes, the update was posted after I posted this asking why no update.

My board is gone- migrated over to another place.   I do not think I will get them back, even if it does get fixed.   All trust is gone.

Hi, Tracy

I know it may feel impossible now, but I do have hope for people returning. We've been around for a very long time, and I'm hoping this not-so-minor blip on the radar can be forgiven once things are working again. We still offer a wonderful community atmosphere and we have such a varied group of members and topics, and once things are working again, rebuilding is priority #1. I know right now that doesn't mean much, but I can assure you that it is my personal goal to attract both new members and longstanding ones to the communities. I will need your help! I do hope that even if people leave temporarily, our bookmarks stay in the browsers for future use.
