This bounce back and forth from the log in page is the most annoying thing in the world.  I now use Firefox because Explorer just doesn't work for me, but I still get this bounce back and forth at least twice.

Hi Laura,

I'm sorry you're having log-in issues. Can you tell me what you mean by "bounce back and forth from the log in page"?

As for your question about the boards being fixed, yes, they will be. You can read more about that here: http://www.ivillage.com/forums/ivillage-women/around-ivillage/ivillage-help/ivillage-help/latest-update-1-17-13.

Let me know about the bouncing and I'll be happy to help as I can.

Thanks!

Hi Erin....well...for example...just now I tried to reply to your post.  I got sent to the Log-in Page.  My log-in and password are already populated and I check "Keep me logged in".  Then I click on Log In, I get bounced back to the original post, I try to reply and get bounced back to the Log-In Page.  After this happens at least twice I'm finally able to post.  Very annoying....

Hi Laura,

It sounds like the system is lagging with logging you in. I'm not sure why it's not keeping you logged in originally though. When you log in the first time and you're brought back to the post, does it still say "loading" or "waiting for iVillage.com" at the bottom of your browser?

Hi CM ERin.... I have a similar situation but have found that the only way for me to get longed in and stay logged in is : after I sign in and press "submit" the subscriptions page pops up and then I close that page and then I have to log in again and then it will log me in. In other words, if /when the subscription sign up page doesn't pop up I can not log in. Strange as that is,, that is what's happening.

The same issue has been happening to me all last week, I finally just got tired of complaining about stuff so haven't bothered with it. I'll start a new thread, but even this morning now I can't add a new thread in IE, it keeps blanking out my screen. I finally moved over to FF to get it added, but the logging in and out has been going on for at least a week now, and it hasn't been a matter of it just lagging and being slow, I have to re log in every single morning and if I have stopped using the boards for a long period of time, such as when I leave for lunch, when I get back it has somehow logged me out.

OK...now I haven't been able to start a new thread fo 2 days.  I'm so tired of saying this is "ridiculous"...as I e:mailed to one of my co-CLs this is the most mismanaged change in the history of "business".  I have no idea how this company actually operates on a daily basis.  I cann't believe that it has taken "months" to fix message boards.  And once one problem has been fixed another one crops up.  I appreciate that we keep getting thanks for our patience, but my patience is at an end.

I can't get IE to work at all here at home and just takes me in the circle to sign in over and over again.  It hasn't worked in months for me here.  Firefox does work thank goodness.  I haven't been able to edit my Prefernces since this change over either.
