I vote so I can share my opinion about politics.  In other words, I vote so I can complain. Wink

Good for you! I could never understand why people don't vote. Certainly, you don't have the right to complain if you don't vote!

I vote because I want the world to know I want to be able to control what I do with my freaking ovaries. I don't want a man to tell me what I can and can't do. That's just the tip of the reason why. I would never abort my own baby but I will be damned if someone other than the women that has to deal with it should have the choice. I was raped once. If I got pregnant from that I would abort it in a heartbeat. No one knows until they go through it. Do not take away a woman's right. It's more important than most understand.

I Vote because it is a privilege that I don't want to loose. If you don't vote you give up your right to voice your opinion on what happens to you. I say if you don't vote you can't complain when decisions are made by the government that you don't like OR take credit for what you do like. I vote to teach my child that it is a responsibility and right that he should use every chance he has. I think about all the people in the world who would give anything to vote and cannot. I think about all the people who have died trying to vote. I am so proud to be an American and get the opportunity to voice my opinion through my vote.

I vote to keep our country strong, fair to all people, help everyone to have a chance to provide for themselves, to keep rich, selfish rulers from taking away the help for the poor and needy as in the Bible it says: go out and preach the good news to the poor. If we can help someone else to stand on their on, our country will be strong. That is why I vote for President Obama. He knows what it is like to struggle and appreciate a helping hand from someone or the government. I would have lost my home if He had not provided a Modification program that I took advantage of. I lost $7,000.00 when Bush put us in a recession. Now I can make it. I believe President Obama will keep makeing things better for everyone.
