Sam has been around probably as long as you have. I've been a member for about 10 yrs & a CL here for 8. I wasn't 'defending' her but a part of my 'job' as CL is to do things like this...to step in & explain, mediate, whatever. I saw a situation where I FELT I understood what she was saying. Apparently, I was correct because she confirmed it. I did NOT feel that she was saying that the "deserved" it...just that they had to be aware of the risk. There's a BIG difference.

Do keep in mind, this board has a long history of others stepping up to help explain a misconception. I've seen you do it as well. That's all I was doing. So, now I'll 'butt out' - as requested.
