Easter egg hunt canceled because of aggressive parents

I guess I'm not a "helicopter" parent. While we help our DD where we can, we've also always been aware that she needs to learn how to deal with life's obstacles too. I don't understand parents who act like those in this article. Isn't a part of raising your children the joy & pride when they try it on their own? (Age appropriate, of course! )
