This turned my stomach. I don't believe in spanking, period, and this goes beyond any discipline and into abuse territory. I can't believe that while he admits he did it, he says it wasn't as bad as it looks???

I look back now and wish I'd known about child services and such sort. I used to run away regularly, and for some reason I never told the police (who picked me up) why I left. I think maybe I didn't want to make my father look bad. I don't know, honestly.
Because of it, I have absolutely no respect for either of my parents.
Oh well, life goes on.
