"Journalists would better serve communities if they followed stuff like this up."
ITA.
BTW I finished watching that program on the Amish. Most interesting & touching.

I also searched for follow up stories, and didn't find much more than has already been posted. Journalists would better serve communities if they followed stuff like this up.

This is so annoying about news, in general, one hears about an incident then there's rarely any follow-up.

Unless he does something to make people happy & bring up his approval rating - which I think is in the 30's - yes, one term. There are plently of liberal candidates who could do a better job than he's done.

Any info as to if they were on the shoulder at the time?

I was looking for an update on this story & came across this picture of accident. It appears to be quite a wide two lane road with a wide shoulder.

This Feb. 27, 2012 photo shows the wreckage

Do you think Seattle will have just a 1 term mayor then? I can see why so many peeps would be upset with him

Not since Mayor "McSchwinn" was elected. He just gives their head guys key positions in city government. Screws up our roads by adding bike lanes on streets that cyclists rarely use, etc. There are a lot of Seattlites that are truly peeved with him.

Is Cascade still doing their monthly protest? I'm not driving up there professional anymore & I hardly listen to Kiro anymore

@busdriversam - there are some very good cyclists here, but too many are either weekend warriors or members of Cascade & believe that they should have precedence on all roadways!
