When Justin Bassett interviewed for a new job, he expected the usual questions about experience and references. So he was astonished when the interviewer asked for something else: his Facebook username and password.

Good! My FB is fairly private but I do realize that what I put out into the 'net will be there forever, so I am careful. There's nothing a possible employer could find fault with, unless they are going to let my religious or political opinions sway them...but that's something I have never discussed in the workplace (with one exception - and it was a 4 person office & we all held the pretty much the same viewpoints!).

Still, as a citizens, everyone is entitled to SOME privacy!

Someone's Facebook a/c should be none of an employers business.

Facebook is far too intrusive, as is, & uses it's members person info. for profit. That's why I deleted my a/c.
