Journalists urged caution after the Fort Hood attack. We weren't to blame our Muslim friends, after one of them shot a whole bunch of people in Fort Hood while shouting "Allahu Akbar!" Yet the same jounalists who urged caution then, seem to be attacking Sarah Palin with glee after an act of violence against Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords. The press doesn't seem consistent. This board also seems to have some issues with consistancy.

Can't we reject all sorts of violence, and try to learn from each incident to help protect others into the future? Must everything devolve into a partisan political attack? After reading the other thread, I'm wondering if there isn't anything Palin and Bush can't be blamed for that is bad by the left. :( These two seem to be a get out of jail (aka avoid all responsibility for what Obama, Pelosi and Reid do) card. Note, I'm not saying Obama, Pelosi or Reid had anything to do with the shooting, in fact they had no more to do with the shooting than Palin or Bush.

That's because the shooter in Fort Hood was Muslim.

The news reporters are saying that everyone who encourages violence against others, should stop.

( On both sides of the political spectrum, there are those who don't chose their words well. )

And yet the liberal media only chooses to blame Palin, The Tea Party, Rush, and Beck. They simply ignore and refuse to report the hateful vitriol spewed by the left.

(There are wackos who can be driven to do violence.)

In theory, this is true. However, there is not ONE SINGLE SHRED OF EVIDENCE that supports the opinion that this gunman was driven to kill because of Sarah Palin's crosshair maps or something somebody said.

The left somehow feels the need to politicize every crisis and find any way possible to point blame at the right.

My middle school daughter actually came home from school yesterday and told me her social studies teacher told them that this gunman was a huge Sarah Palin fan and he shot the congresswoman because Sarah Palin had a picture of the congresswoman with a crosshair target on her face.

WHAT??????? Wow.....now the liberal media has thoroughly failed! They tell fraudulent stories to convince liberal teachers of "what happened" (despite the fact there is no evidence whatsoever to back their theory) and the liberal teachers tell this to children.

Holy Smokes!
