:-( I didn't see him. Oh, the irony. Kid born in Ohio. OSU fan for life, overseas helping flooded area, bumped for another flooded area and to talk about the OSU football team. LOL.

I'm not hottlipps, but I saw some flooding. We were traveling in all that rain and stopped and saw where some houses had been washed away. It was hard to believe that anyone was allowed to, let alone decided to build where those homes had been built. It was only a matter of time.

They showed houses falling into the water. But, I lived near Lake Erie and saw houses flooded all the time. I lived about 4 blocks from the lake. It never affected us. I know some people that use to live in Calf. They have move. But a couple of years ago they were in a fire. Their house was gone. They moved back to Fla. Said they'd take their chances with Hurricanes. I guess no matter where we live, we're at the mercy of Mother Nature.

These homes had the ground underneath them undercut by the swift water from the river. Those people built in a definite flood plane. I'd be very surprised if any insurance company had insured them.

My Mom lives near a River,(but it looks more like a creek) that floods. She can't get flood insurance. When I lived in Toledo, People were flooded out all the time till the Civil Engineers built a flood wall.
