Liberals have a tough time with the concept of personal responsibility...which is why, thanks to them, this nation is rearing generations of selfish, entitled brats who feel they deserve a trophy for just showing up and think "the rich" owe them a living.
"Maybe once upon a time in the old days when the middle class existed, it was possible to work hard at a job, get recognized, and "work your way up". That was then. This is now."
You mean now when you just sit back and collect unemployment checks for ever and ever at the expense of the people who are actually working hard?
Work and a good work ethic are important, but it starts with doing well in school. That should be the focus of high school, IMO.
Chicken and egg confusion...few kids can do well in school, or even care about school, without a good work ethic, self-respect and discipline instilled in them by responsible parents and/or guardians...not to mention a prospect of a future.

Why does that not surprise me?

What an offensive statement!
The responses on here have been absolutely mind boggling.

Gingrich is a dope.
I disagree.
